Prof. Jian-Kang Zhang (1960-2021)
Dr. Jian-Kang Zhang was a full professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada. He received the B.S. degree in information science (mathematics) from Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China, in 1983, the M.S. degree in information and computational science (mathematics) from Northwest University, Xi’an, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, in 1999. He had held research positions with McMaster University and Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA.
